2013 Hyundai Santa Fe has been in news for a while now. Recently Hyundai released two sketches of upcoming crossover Santa Fe. Now The Korean Car Blog, managed to publish two scanned images of brochure of 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. The new Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to debut during New York Auto Show scheduled for next month.
From the leaked brochure, it is evident that 2013 Santa Fe will have BlueLink (Hyundai’s proprietary in car information system), automatic parking, front and rear LED lamps, knee airbag and Lane Departure Warning System. The model featured in the brochure is the one for Korean market. So we expect there will be market specific changes during it’s commercial launch. Another important information is 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe will be available in both five seater and seater configurations.
There will be both 2WD and 4WD options on offer. The two wheel drive option will get a 2.2ltr petrol engine and a 2.0 liter R-Series Gamma engine. The petrol engine is good enough to provide 225 hp peak power and 500 Nm peak torque. The R-Series Diesel engine returns a fuel efficiency of 17Km/ltr. The engine produces 182 hp peak power and a peak torque of 392 Nm.
Hyundai Santa Fe has been in India for almost two years now. Though the vehicle was well received during the launch later the demand fade out. So we expect the new Santa Fe to debut in Indian market immediately after it’s international debut. Hyundai Motor India will bring 2013 Santa Fe to India through CKD route.
We will keep you updated on new Hyundai Santa Fe’s Indian journey so stay tuned to Wheelosphere.
