Outlander, the flagship SUV from Mitsubishi Motors will get a facelift in coming years ie in 2012 – 2013. Here comes a graphical projection of the facelifted Mitsubishi Outlander. Mitsubishi may source ‘Hybrid4’ system from PSA Peugeot Citroen for 2013 Outlander. The Hybrid4 power pack is a combination of 4 cylinder DOHC petrol engine and two electric permanent-magnet synchronous motors. The gasoline engine can develop 114 hp peak power while the electric motor will supply 80 hp. The first electric motor will supply power to front wheels during normal operation while the second electric motor will come into action while driver opts for AWD configuration.
