For a car launched more than a year and a half ago, the Beat is due for its share of facelifts. And in 2012, we will see the new Beat which will receive several facelifts.
On the exteriors, the headlights receive a minor surgery and the ORVM’s will be tapered to a more aerodynamic taper.The bumpers will receive snips and flicks which will house new fog lamps. There is also a possibility of a bigger 15” wheels for the top end with some low profile tyres.
Under the hood there is a possibility of a bigger engine ranging up to 1.5 litres or so. We can expect reduced NVH levels and a smoother motor for the next year. With the recent launch of its diesel variant in July this year, it is imperative for Chevrolet to facelift the Beat. Adding up these renderings, it seems like Chevrolet is perfecting its recipe for a perfect hot hatch.
