For those don’t know SEMA yet, here’s it. Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) arranges one of the hottest events for premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world attracting more than more than 100,000 visitors from over 100 countries in the automotive, truck and SUV, and RV markets. Held at Las Vegas, NV in the USA, it provides platform for the manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers, car dealers, specialty equipment distributors, installers, retailers and restoration specialists. to exhibit muscle, classics, luxury vehicles, sport compacts, street rods, light rods (off-road and sport trucks) SUVs and recreational vehicles.
Already other brands like Ford, Chrysler, etc. are ready with their specialized cars for the SEMA and now so is Chevrolet. Chevrolet has customized a line of Spark, Sonic and Cruze, making it look appealing like never before, for displaying at the event.
Pink Out Spark:
This one is the all-Pinked Chevrolet Spark with the motive of caner awareness. Yeah, the Spark could never be so Glossy and Pink like this. Absolutely fairy-like. Girls are going to love this one, but will this hit the market? You never know, it’s the USA after-all, anything and everything has a market here. The exterior is finished with Techno Pink paint and the pink-ribbon adds to the specialty. Interior also is no less Pinked. The interior features, pink accent piping, pink pillar trim, a pink suede headliner, and amazingly a pink instrument panel. Other than Pinkness, the Pink Out Spark gets a Z-Spec grille and a body kit, both of which are available through Chevrolet Accessories.
The Color Run Spark:
Maybe you could say Chevrolet is having Dhuleti in the USA, as this Spark looks like have played seriously too much with colours. This Spark gets a custom graphics kit to illustrate just what you might look like after a race, if you happen to be shaped like a micro hatchback. The same Chevy Accessories body kit and Z-Spec grille from the Pink Out Spark are on the go here. Beyond that, The Color Run Spark also gets stainless steel pedals and doorsills, and white-finished 15-inch wheels for that they’d match with every different colour in the exterior.
Ah! Here’s the most interesting Spark we think. This one looks like a hard-tuned ready to street-race car. The Sinister Spark features major changes on the exterior part with lots of chunkiness due to the body-kits and many other modifications including flared wheel arches, a rear wing, and a new, air-gulping front facia as well as a new rear fascia with twin exhaust outlets. The height of this Sprak has also been lowered down to make it look like a true racer and the Bahia Red–finished 18-inch wheels add the punk to that. Worth noting is also the Carbon Flash Gray exterior featuring dozens and dozens of matte black bow ties.
The Spark Z-Spec is also very sporty, but the decent way. Yes, we could say the Gran Turismo way of Sportiness. The body kit, the Z-Spec grille, the stainless steel pedal covers and sill plates, and the coil-over suspension form the exclusivity here. The exterior features Salsa Red paint-job, 15-inch wheels have Salsa Red touch on them. The seat inserts, instrument panel and the door panels are Salsa Red.
Sonic Z-Spec 2.5:
This is the beast! Just look at the aggressiveness in the eyes and face of this Sonic! The Orange rings in the head-lights are just so different and alien-like. Many different colours are used in this Sonic, Abalone White, Galvano Silver, Signal Red, Jet Black, Orange Crust, and Piano Black all are featured inside and out. There’s a whole new masculine look with the sporty body-kit, 18-inch wheels, new spoiler, etc. Here’s the most interesting part of this one. The Sonic Z-Spec 2.5 is not just all about visuals, it’s more of performance actually. The height of the car is lowered down, features performance dampers, 16-inch brake rotors with 4-piston capilers in the front, a col-air intake and also Borla exhaust system.
Sonic Z-Spec 1:
The Sonic Z-Spec 1 is the same on the performance levels like that of the Sonic Z-Spec 2.5. What all differs is the visuals here. The Sonic Z-Spec 1 features Synergy Green and Ashley Grey paint-job, 18-inch wheels, rear-spoiler from the Sonic RS, the Z-spec graphics and the grille surround. Additionally, it also features, stainless steel pedals and doorsill plats, and a body kit.
How could Chevy forget the Cruze, eh? Cruze is one of the most significant compact car for Chevrolet in the USA. It has saved Chevrolet during bad times with promising high sales. The Cruze Upscale is made all dark with the exterior done in Burnished Brandy Metallic with tinted windows hiding from sight a Loft Brown leather-trimmed interior with yellow accent stitching. 19-inch Black Ice-finished wheels, tinted head-lights and fog-lights make the Cruze Upscale more stunning. Other than visuals, the Cruze Upscale also sports an adjustable coil-over suspension and vented and drilled rotors front and back, clamped by four-piston calipers up front and two-pistons in the rear.
Chevrolet has done impressive customization on this compact cars and surely will be eye-popper at the event. Sadly, we don’t expect any of these to come here in India. But still, just enjoy this, get inspired and you can always get customizations done privately from outside but yes, you won’t be having the Sonic anyhow. Unfortunately, Chevrolet is bringing the Chinese Sail sedan and hatchback here in India, very soon. So no Sonic, for now.
