The engine develops 120PS of power  and 280Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a five speed manual gear box. Mahindra Xylo comes with an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 14.02 kpl.

The current Mahindra Xylo variants are named as E4, E8 and E9, the new variants are labelled as H4, H8 and H9. Mahindra has not altered the pricing of  Xylo. The Mahindra H4 variant comes with ABS, while the H8 variant has Air Bags in addition to the ABS. The top end variant has Voice Command Technology (VCT) as extra compared to H9 variant. Other features in the top end variant  include Cruise Control and Digital Drive Assist System. The new Mahindra Xylo comes in a new shade - Dolphin Grey – as well.

Mahindra Xylo was launched in 2009 and had a good start. But Xylo could not maintain the initial momentum and sales are facing resistance due to launch of new products in it’s segment. We need to wait and see the market response to the new Mahindra Xylo with new heart.

General Motors has launched Enjoy MPV with both seven seats and eight seats version. The base variants of Enjoy (both petrol and diesel) comes with eight seat configuration. Probably Chevrolet may want to tap some market share from taxi operators.

The diesel version of Chevrolet Enjoy MPV comes with a 1.3ltr engine. The engine is similar to Fiat’s renowned 1.3ltr Multjet engine. The engine develops 77.5 PS of peak  power and 188 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a five speed manual gear box. The engine and gear box combo will return  fuel efficiency of 18.2 kmpl. The Chevrolet Enjoy weighs 1,345 Kg and has ground clearance of 161mm.

The gasoline sipping Chevrolet Enjoy is propelled by a 1.4ltr engine. The engine is capable to bring 104PS of peak power  and 131 Nm of torque. The petrol version is lighter compare to diesel version by few kilograms. The kerb weight of Enjoy MPV petrol variant is  1,260kg and  it comes with fuel efficiency of 13.7kpl  (ARAI Certified).

Chevrolet Enjoy measures  4,305 mm x 1,680 mm x 1,750 mm (length x width x height). Enjoy is available in six shades Velvet red, Linen beige, Summit white, Sandrift grey, Caviar black and Switchblade silver.

Maruti Ertiga Feliz will get cosmetic bits to make the car more beautiful. The exterior changes will include a front grille, fog lamps and rear view mirrors in silver shades. Other changes are a special rear spoiler and body graphics. These changes will make the Ertiga Feliz different from regular Maruti Ertiga.

Under the roof, Ertiga Feliz will get additional styling bits. The exact details of the new features are not known at this moment. The seat covers and car pillows may get Ertiga Feliz branding. Other convenience features include rear parking sensors with digital display and back pocket organizer. Other styling elements include new steering wheel cover, floor mats and door sill protectors.

Maruti Ertiga is expected to continue with current engine line up. That means the gasoline sipping versions will get current K-Series engine while diesel models will get Fiat sourced 1.3ltr Multijet engine. Both the engines do not require explanations.

The pricing of Maruti Ertiga Feliz edition is not known at this moment. But we expect an increase of Rs.10,000 to 25,000 for the Feliz variant. Maruti Ertiga helped company to make inroads into Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segment. Ertiga managed to clock 5000 units from it’s launch and in the recent months the sales are facing resistance.

Another product Chevrolet Enjoy is expected to hit Indian market by end of this week. So Maruti Suzuki may launch the Ertiga Feliz variant after Chevrolet Enjoy launch. So stay with us for more updates.

The prices of Honda Brio now starts from Rs.4.12 lakh and the top end model comes a price tag of Rs.6.12 lakh. The metallic paint shades are dearer by Rs.3500 . All prices are ex-showroom New Delhi.

“Brio is a significant model for Honda in India as the car added more than 32,000 happy customers in the last fiscal year.We are pleased to announce upgrades to the Brio with added comfort and convenience in its segment,” said Mr.Jnaneswar Sen – Senior Vice President – Marketing, Honda Car India Ltd.

In addition to these additional features, Honda Brio now comes ”Honda Care Maintenance Package (HCMP)”. This maintenance package will offer  free periodic maintenance service up to 40,000km or 2 years which ever occur first. The  HCMP package is priced at Rs 9996.

There are no changes other than these two new features. Mechanically Honda Brio is exactly similar to the current  model and will continue with 1.2 i-VTEC engine.

Honda Brio has been clocking 2000 odd units for the last few months. But last month we saw the launch of boot attached version of Brio called Honda Amaze. Mahindra Verito Vibe developed by Mahindra and Mahindra’s in house product development team. Vibe is Mahindra and Mahindra’s second product in sub – 4 meter segment. The other model is moderately successful Mahindra Quanto. Verito Vibe will have  Renault-Nissan alliance’s 1.5-liter dCi oil burner which is currently doing duty in sedan variant.

We have already shown you a possible renderings of Mahindra Verito Vibe and  they  been well received by our regular readers and our fellow automotive bloggers alike. Now Mahindra has an important task in their hand, pricing the Verito Vibe effectively. Yesterday Japanese major Honda launched their first diesel car Amaze sedan in India. Honda Amaze diesel variant price starts at Rs.5.99 lakhs in India and now Mahindra has to price Verito Vibe sensibly so that it emerge as a capable product in our market.

Mahindra Renault Logan, the first and last product from short lived marriage between Indian Sports Utility Vehicle manufacture Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd and French auto major Renault witnessed lukewarm response. The alliance pulled curtain of the product and Indian partner Mahindra acquired license to produce and sell Logan in Indian market. Later Mahindra launched Logan as Mahindra Verito in India with a number of changes in all departments. Mahindra Verito Vibe is the third major change since Mahindra and Mahindra obtained the license.
