Hyosung likely to respond to quarter liter class hype

Hyosung will definitely be here by MarchThe 250 ccs are the new 150 ccs. In the earlier part of the last decade, the 150 cc segment was the most sought after class. And in light of changing scenarios, the 250 cc segment is replacing this title.

We already have the Honda CBR 250R and the Ninja 250 rubbing shoulders and we have half a dozen manufacturers vying for a piece of the quarter liter pie. KTM might be here and so is the case with the Pulsar(However, Bajaj continues to hold on to diplomatic silence).

And Hyosung which has seen great success in the 650cc segment is not one to stay out of this battle. And we can confirm this by the latest reports which suggest the Korean’s entry into the segment by March 2012. As we have told you earlier, the only 250 cc bike Hyosung has in its global line up is the GT 250R which is the fully faired version of its naked twin the GT 250N. The power ratings and other specs still continue to be a mystery but we can expect toned down homologation for our mileage conscious country and few other tweaks… and of course we just have to have the Saree guard(what a shame). None the less, the bike will be a definite head turner and will raise benchmarks in the segment.
